Route YY bridge replacement starts this week

The Route YY bridge over the middle fork of the Grand River east of Worth, Missouri in Worth County closed over a year ago after inspections led to critical deterioration of the bridge.

Contractors with the Missouri Department of Transportation will begin work on replacement this week, with plans to reopen to all traffic in Spring 2020.

Motorists should use US Route 169 as an alternate route until the bridge is complete.
